At Lavenwell Farm Stay, we intentionally keep our guest list small. With space for just three to five dogs at any given time, we're able to provide personalized care, individual attention, and a calm, low-stress environment that larger facilities simply can't offer.

Our climate-controlled boarding barn was thoughtfully designed with comfort, cleanliness, and calm atmosphere in mind. Each suite features automatic fresh-water bowls and is positioned directly across from large glass doors and windows overlooking the outdoor dog yard and farm, allowing dogs to enjoy natural light and views throughout the day.

Guests enjoy daily access to our shaded outdoor dog yard, where they can stretch their legs, explore, play, and relax in the fresh air. The boarding barn sits beside a peaceful pond and flowing creek, where the gentle sound of waterfalls creates a quiet and soothing atmosphere.

One of the things that makes Lavenwell unique is the experience of farm life itself. While relaxing outdoors, dogs may watch free-ranging chickens wander by, sheep grazing nearby, and goats enjoying their day in the paddock. It's a peaceful setting filled with fresh air, open space, and the simple rhythms of life on the farm.

Cleanliness, safety, and comfort are always a top priority. The boarding barn is cleaned and maintained throughout the day, and our professional dog wash station allows us to efficiently provide baths when needed or prior to pickup, ensuring your dog returns home clean, comfortable, and happy.

Whether your dog loves to explore, lounge in the sunshine, or simply enjoy a quieter pace of life, Lavenwell Farm Stay offers a peaceful retreat where they can feel safe, cared for, and right at home.

Before requesting your reservation, please review the following requirements:

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

• Current Rabies vaccination records
• Current DHPP (Distemper/Parvo) vaccination records
• Current Bordetella vaccination records
• Dogs must be free of fleas, ticks, and contagious illness
• Veterinary contact information
• Emergency contact information
• Completed client information form
• Behavioral information disclosed prior to arrival

*We cannot accept female dogs when they are in heat

PAYMENT & RESERVATIONS

Deposit & Payment

First night’s stay is required as a deposit for booking.
Remainder of payment is due at drop off.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are confirmed once a deposit is received.
Cancellations made 14 or more days before arrival receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made 7–13 days before arrival receive a credit toward a future stay.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival forfeit the deposit.
Holiday reservations require additional notice and may have stricter cancellation terms.
Early pickups or shortened stays are not eligible for refunds.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

To provide a smooth experience for both dogs and owners, all paperwork and communication should be completed prior to arrival whenever possible.

Upon arrival, please text or call to let us know you've arrived. We will greet you at the gate and escort you and your dog to the boarding barn for a simple and stress-free handoff.
